• Travailler avec des scans laser/nuages de points
• R\xc3\xa9vision de la conception de la tuyauterie en fonction des commentaires internes et externes
• D\xc3\xa9pannage et r\xc3\xa9solution de probl\xc3\xa8mes
• Pr\xc3\xa9paration des bordereaux de mat\xc3\xa9riel
• R\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rence aux normes de conception d\'AFRY et du client
• Certains d\xc3\xa9placements sur le site du projet pour les mesures sur le terrain, le balayage et la collecte d\'informations.
• D\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9guer des t\xc3\xa2ches de conception de tuyauterie \xc3\xa0 des dessinateurs juniors/interm\xc3\xa9diaires
• S\'assurer que la conception de la tuyauterie est conforme aux sch\xc3\xa9mas de tuyauterie et instrumentation (P&ID).
• Participer \xc3\xa0 la r\xc3\xa9vision des mod\xc3\xa8les 3D avec les clients

As a Piping Designer, the selected candidate will typically be involved in the development of the piping layouts and isometrics, from concept creation to detailed design. The Piping Designer is responsible for the overall quality, clarity and completeness of the drawings, and shall work under the supervision of an Engineer and/or Project Manager. The position includes the following key tasks:

• Routing pipe in 3D Plant
• Creating 2D piping plans, sections, sketches, details, etc.
• Reviewing and commenting on vendor drawings
• Providing pipe tie-ins and connections to equipment
• Resolving interferences (clash detection)
• Working with laser scans/point clouds
• Revising the piping design based on internal and external comments
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• Preparing bills of materials
• Referencing AFRY and Client design standards
• Some travel to project site for field measurement, scanning and information gathering
• Delegating pipe design tasks to junior/intermediate drafters
• Ensuring that the piping design adheres to the P&IDs
• Taking part in 3D model reviews with Clients

Qualifications

• 10+ ann\xc3\xa9es d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience avec AutoCAD, Plant3D et Navisworks
• Ma\xc3\xaetrise d\'Outlook, MS Word, Excel et Adobe Acrobat.
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience/familiarit\xc3\xa9 avec les devis de mat\xc3\xa9riaux de tuyauterie
• Une compr\xc3\xa9hension approfondie des sch\xc3\xa9mas de tuyauterie et instrumentation (P&ID)
• Connaissance approfondie des composants de tuyauterie, des raccords, des mat\xc3\xa9riaux, des vannes et de l\'isolation.
• Connaissance des principes de base des supports de tuyauterie (soutien, guidage et ancrage)
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience de la tuyauterie \xc3\xa0 vapeur de grand diam\xc3\xa8tre
• Capacit\xc3\xa9 d\'enseigner et d\'aider au d\xc3\xa9veloppement de dessinateurs/concepteurs de tuyauterie juniors.
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience des \xc3\xa9tudes de faisabilit\xc3\xa9 et de l\'ing\xc3\xa9nierie d\xc3\xa9taill\xc3\xa9e
• Esprit d\'\xc3\xa9quipe : capacit\xc3\xa9 de coordination respectueuse au sein d\'une \xc3\xa9quipe pluridisciplinaire.
• Solides comp\xc3\xa9tences en mati\xc3\xa8re de gestion du temps et d\'organisation
• Fran\xc3\xa7ais et anglais
• Connaissance des normes ASME B31.1 et/ou B31.3, un atout.
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience avec l\'\xc3\xa9quipement et l\'utilisation de scanners 3D, un atout
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience de BIM360, un atout
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience dans le domaine des p\xc3\xa2tes et papiers et des mines/m\xc3\xa9taux un atout.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant3D and Navisworks
• Proficiency with Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat
• Experience/familiarity with piping material specifications
• A thorough understanding of P&ID\'s
• Thorough knowledge of piping components, fittings, materials, valves and insulation
• Knowledge of pipe support basics (supporting, guiding and anchoring)
• Experience with large bore steam piping
• Ability to teach and assist with the development of junior piping drafters/designers
• Experience with feasibility studies and detailed engineering
• Team Player: ability to coordinate respectfully within a multi-disciplinary team
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• French and English
• Familiarity with ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 an asset
