Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Vision Engineer with experience to join our team. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing computer vision algorithms. This is a full time remote consulting position.

Role Scope:

  • Develop and implement computer vision algorithms for medical image analysis using tools such as OpenCV, MATLAB, and Python
  • Design and develop image processing pipelines for medical imaging applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, identify solutions, and implement features
  • Work with software and hardware engineers to optimize image acquisition and processing systems
  • Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate new technologies for potential use in medical image analysis
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in computer vision and medical imaging
Qualifications:
  • Master\'s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in computer vision and image processing, with a focus on medical image analysis
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB
  • Experience with image analysis software such as OpenCV, ITK, and ImageJ
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Familiarity with medical imaging modalities such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with medical device development and FDA regulations
  • Knowledge of DICOM and other medical imaging standards
  • Familiarity with GPU programming and parallel computing
  • Publications in peer-reviewed computer vision or medical imaging journals
