Computer & Device Support
Diagnose and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.
Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications.
Remove malware/viruses and optimize system performance.
Perform data backup, migration, and recovery for home and business clients.
Set up monitors, external drives, printers, and smart devices.
Hardware Builds & Upgrades
Assemble and configure custom desktops tailored for gaming, design, or business.
Upgrade CPUs, GPUs, RAM, and storage for higher performance.
Optimize systems for speed, reliability, and cooling efficiency.
Electrical & Infrastructure Support (Hands-On Role)
Diagnose and repair IT-related electrical issues (e.g., power supplies, UPS systems, cabling).
Perform safe, small-scale electrical troubleshooting relevant to computers and electronics.
Assist with installing and maintaining power backup and surge protection systems.
Client Support & Training
Provide clear one-on-one guidance on computer maintenance and security.
Mentor youth and clients in IT fundamentals, coding basics (Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript), and AI tools.
Support local tech workshops, boot camps, and community training sessions.
Additional Startup & Regional Duties
Provide on-site and remote support for homes and small businesses.
Help configure mobile devices, smart home systems, and A/V setups.
Assist small businesses with IT procurement, basic network setup, and cybersecurity best practices.
Assist homes and businesses with network connectivity. Both LAN/WLAN
Core Requirements (Must-Have)
Diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience in IT, computer repair, or a related technical field.
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in computer repair and technical support.
Strong troubleshooting ability across hardware, software, and light electrical issues.
Experience with custom high-performance builds (gaming, video editing).
Ability to work independently in rural/semi-remote areas, with travel across Quesnel, Williams Lake, and Prince George.
Excellent communication skills -- able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients.
Willingness to take on diverse tasks in a startup environment.

Preferred / Bonus Skills
Familiarity with data recovery and cybersecurity tools.
Knowledge of small-office/home networking (Wi-Fi setup, routers, switches).
Experience leading or assisting with community tech education programs.
Comfort with A/V systems (projectors, conference gear, smart TVs).
Experience with custom high-performance builds (gaming, video editing).
Mobile device configuration and integration.
