Do you love technology? Are you the go to support person that your friends and family ask to help them fix their computers? Then this might be the right job for you. We are looking for an experienced break/fix computer repair technician to join our established computer repair business in North Vancouver. The position will involve working both at our location and locally in the Lower Mainland on-site at client locations. This position is not suitable for people that want to work remotely from around the world. Responsibilities:
- PC and Laptop Repair - this is an in person break/fix repair position
- Virus/Malware removal and Data Recovery
- Strong knowledge of PC troubleshooting and repair.
- Comfortable configuring and supporting Windows 10 and 11
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting computer issues
- Assembling and setting up new custom built computers
- Installing new hardware and software on client computers
- Upgrading, installing drivers, and updating systems
- Teaching and Training clients how to use their tech.
- Performing repairs both in shop and at client locations.
- Understand printer and network installation and troubleshooting.
- Must be proficient in various Operating Systems (Windows, MAC, Linux)
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+) will be an advantage

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- North Vancouver, BC V7L 2K1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
- Can you troubleshoot and fix broken computers?

- Fluent spoken, written, and reading English (required)
