RESPONSABILIT\xc3\x89S

• Traiter diverses factures relatives aux d\xc3\xa9p\xc3\xb4ts, aux immobilisations et aux services publics

• Produire des factures pour imputer des frais aux comptes des locataires
• Pr\xc3\xa9parer les comptes de r\xc3\xa9gularisation de fin de mois, reclasser des \xc3\xa9critures comptables au besoin et ex\xc3\xa9cuter divers processus de fin de mois
• Pr\xc3\xa9parer des rapports mensuels pour les clients
• Examiner r\xc3\xa9guli\xc3\xa8rement les factures payables de la compagnie
• Nettoyer diverses entr\xc3\xa9es aux comptes clients et au GLG dans le syst\xc3\xa8me existant
• Recueillir des donn\xc3\xa9es pour l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe responsable de la gestion des actifs immobiliers (\xc3\xa9valuations)
• Effectuer toute autre t\xc3\xa2che assign\xc3\xa9e

• Vous \xc3\xaates actuellement inscrit dans un programme de comptabilit\xc3\xa9 ou de finance et vous pr\xc3\xa9voyez de retourner aux \xc3\xa9tudes \xc3\xa0 l\xe2\x80\x99automne 2023

• Vous ma\xc3\xaetrisez les logiciels Excel, Teams et Outlook de Microsoft
• Vous poss\xc3\xa9dez d\xe2\x80\x99excellentes aptitudes en communication et faites preuve d\xe2\x80\x99initiative pour trouver des solutions efficaces
• Vous avez le souci du d\xc3\xa9tail et \xc3\xaates capable de g\xc3\xa9rer efficacement de multiples priorit\xc3\xa9s dans des d\xc3\xa9lais serr\xc3\xa9s
• Vous d\xc3\xa9sirez acqu\xc3\xa9rir une connaissance des processus et proc\xc3\xa9dures de comptabilit\xc3\xa9 immobili\xc3\xa8re

Working in a collaborative team-based environment, the Bilingual Real Estate Accountant Summer Student will be responsible for servicing regionally based real estate assets during the completion of an organization-wide system replacement.

Reporting to: Anna Lacelle, Eastern Canada

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process a variety of deposit, capital, and utility invoices

• Process tenant charge-backs
• Prepare month-end accruals, reclass entries as required, and perform a variety of month-end processes
• Prepare client monthly reports
• Regularly review corporate payable invoices
• Cleaning a variety of legacy AR and GL items
• Gathering information for the asset management team (appraisals)
• Assist in the new system post go-live by converting legacy reports and configuring recoveries
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled as an accounting/finance student and planning to return to school fall 2023

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills and initiative that lead to effective solutions
• Detail oriented and able to effectively manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines
• Eager for exposure to real estate accounting processes and procedures
