Compressor Technician

About the Role

As a

Compressor Technician

, you'll play a key role in supporting our clients' operations by ensuring their air systems are running at peak performance. You'll be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of air compressors and related pneumatic equipment.

This position offers the opportunity to work both in-shop and on-site at customer locations, with the backing of a reliable, well-equipped team behind you.

Key Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial air compressors and associated equipment (dryers, filters, control systems, pneumatic tools, etc.). Perform scheduled and emergency service work both in-house and on-site. Conduct inspections using diagnostic tools to proactively identify and resolve issues. Repair or replace motors, valves, gauges, hoses, electrical components, and other key parts. Maintain clear service records, reports, and work orders. Adhere strictly to safety procedures and provincial regulations at all times. Keep service vehicles and work areas clean, organized, and ready for use. Communicate professionally with clients and collaborate with internal teams (parts, sales, and service).

What You Bring

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in compressor repair, industrial maintenance, or a related mechanical/electrical role. Mechanical or Millwright certification preferred; electrical troubleshooting experience is a strong asset. Solid understanding of rotary screw, reciprocating, and oil-free compressor systems. Proficient in reading technical manuals, schematics, and system diagrams. Comfortable using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power equipment. Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean abstract. Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, working in tight spaces, and standing for extended periods. Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
