We are currently seeking: JOURNEYMAN MECHANIC Compression & Controls Calgary, AB We are searching for Millwright / Mechanic/ H.D. Mechanic Apprentices and Journeypersons in all our locations to provide exceptional field service support to customers by performing maintenance, repairs, start-ups, optimizations, and overhauls with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose as directed for optimal customer satisfaction. This person communicates and works respectfully with peers and builds strong relationships with all stake holders. Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Performs the job activities in a manner consistent with the company\xe2\x80\x99s goals and objectives.

• Takes initiative and fulfills duties consistent with the company\xe2\x80\x99s standards, policies and controllable expense budget. \xe2\x80\xa2 As directed by the job lead, perform the required repairs and major equipment overhauls in a safe manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Takes corrective action to insure optimal operating efficiency of time and equipment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Timely submits the proper forms required by the operating policies including the completion of electronic service and timekeeping reports.
• Ensures to adhere to establish HSE protocol. Qualifications \xe2\x80\xa2 High School diploma or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 3rd/4th year Apprentice or Journeyperson Millwright \xe2\x80\xa2 High Speed and Low Speed compressor experience is an asset \xe2\x80\xa2 API/ANSI Pump experience is an asset \xe2\x80\xa2 Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn \xe2\x80\xa2 Must maintain in good standing a vehicle operator\xe2\x80\x99s license in the providence of residence. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess highest level of personal and professional integrity \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess strong customer service and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be able to contend with the demanding schedule of field service work Surepoint Compression has over 70 years of experience providing mechanical services and solutions to the Canadian Oil and Gas Industry.
