JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary responsibility of the Compost Facility Operator is to safely operate heavy equipment, such as loaders, mixer, forklifts, and filling conveyors to manufacture compost for mushroom production.

Safely and effectively operate various forms of heavy equipment to move product and feed conveyors and mixer.

Safely load product onto containers or walking floor trailers.

Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.

Maintain a clean and organized working environment.

Observe and comply with all applicable safety regulations, rules, policies, and procedures.

Maintain collaborative working relationship with drivers, operators, and coworkers.

Participate in external, Department and Company-wide trainings to increase skill sets and improve service.

Education and Training

Experience in the compost industry a plus, otherwise training will be provided.

Certifications a plus.

REQUIREMENT:

Loader driver minimum experience for one year Must be 18 years or older

Pay: $20.92 per hour
