The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance with additional supervision from the Customer Care Manager, Tantalus Labs requires a Compliance Specialist to maintain production and medical customer records. This is an entry-level position for a keen individual seeking to gain experience in the discipline of quality management and customer care.

This is a full time role located at our Maple Ridge, BC, production facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain accurate and current batch records for all products
• Use quality management software to execute document change control
• Assist in non-conformance and customer complaint investigations and documentation
• Verify and record medical client registrations, ensuring that documents and procedures adhere to regulations
• Communicate with healthcare practitioners and/or customers to validate, correct, and/or complete registration forms
• File client accounts and related physical documents
• Troubleshoot and navigate medical account compliance issues

Your Competencies

• Education sufficient to execute the Compliance Specialists responsibilities effectively; B.Sc. or Associates degree in Quality Management or related degree with a Quality emphasis
• 1+ years experience preferred in pharmaceutical, food, or agricultural QA/QC or equivalent academic work, e.g. an internship
• Understanding of quality assurance and quality control concepts
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to receive training and then execute independently
