Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compliance Investigator to join our team. This role will work closely with various departments to conduct thorough investigations into potential compliance violations and risk exposure.

Responsibilities

Investigate serious control breaches to ensure independent facts are documented and investigated on behalf of the organization. Analyze data and documentation to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Collaborate with internal teams to develop risk assessment frameworks and compliance policies. Prepare detailed reports on findings and present recommendations for corrective actions. Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization's operations Maintain accurate records of investigations, findings, and resolutions. Reviews all reported compliance-related issues daily to determine the actions required to be proactive in mitigating risk and avoid repeat offences Review all historical FINTRAC data entries and verifies that prizes have been properly documented. Review all weekly liability reports to ensure that all vouchers are cashed in a timely manner. Review all insurance claims and identify high risk areas. Add CCTV coverage for the problematic areas to avoid future loss. Identify gaps in CCTV coverage and arranges installation/relocation of cameras to meet the standard. Review all Whistle Blower submissions and evaluate whether they meet the 'Whistle-Blower' mandate. Report valid claims to the the Director of Compliance and Security and completed a factual investigation. Review the SOP and evaluate if it meets the AGCO standards and applies all parts to the Activity Matrix. Monthly review all social media platforms and identify any potential privacy risks. Annually review all record releases and identify any privacy risks/breaches. Annually review all record storage and identify any privacy risks/breaches.

Qualifications

Education in a related field is preferred. Experience in a gaming environment is preferred. Proven experience in risk management or compliance investigation is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and presentations. Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards is a plus. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to work a hybrid role. Must be able to commute to our sites across Ontario as required
