To work in a compulsory certified trade, an individual must possess a valid Certificate of Qualification, be a registered apprentice or possess a valid temporary work permit. Industry stakeholders rely on the Agency to enforce the provisions of the compulsory certified trades to ensure a level playing field for those who are compliant, and to ensure that work is being performed safely and consumers can trust that individuals working in the compulsory trades are trained and certified.About Our OpportunityThe Enforcement Officer is independently responsible for ensuring compliance with and enforcement of the Apprenticeship and Trades Qualifications Act, General Regulations, and trade specific regulations within all workplaces in an assigned territory. As the Enforcement Officer, and member of the Compliance and Enforcement team, you follow the applicable policies and procedures and utilize the compliance and enforcement tools available.
