COMPLEX CARE WORKER
Our client is an awesome 18-year-old male living in the Carlington area of Ottawa. Living with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder, a typical session would be engaging the client in the community and working towards supporting his social anxieties, while also teaching how to build a positive relationship. He loves animals, collecting, nature, video games, reading, games, being active, and thrives with structure and routine.

You would be the ideal caregiver if you are someone who is sociable, experience with de-escalating/regulating behaviours, has their "G" level license and access to a reliable vehicle.

HOURS
Flexible on days/times, looking for up to 20 hours weekly

RATE OF PAY
$25/hr

Requirements

• Valid First Aid and CPR Standard Level "C" certification
• Smartphone with a data plan
• Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 12 months)
• CPI, TCI, and/or NVCI training (current certification)

Assets

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team
• University and/or College education in a related field
• Driver\'s License \xe2\x80\x9cG\xe2\x80\x9d class with access to a reliable vehicle

Spark is looking to hire motivated, dedicated, and experienced Child and Youth Support Workers. In this role, you\'ll be working with children and youth in the community living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, varying mental illnesses, and behavioural challenges.
