This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically three days a month, and also includes solving problems reported by customers. We don’t like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our systems are fault tolerant. • M.S. or Ph.D. in compiler engineering or related fields
• Experience with optimizing compilers for CPU or GPU or other targets.
• Experience with multiple toolchains, compilers, and Instruction Set Architectures
• Strong knowledge of resource management, scheduling, code generation, and compute graph optimization
• Experience optimizing Tensorflow, PyTorch, or MxNET deep learning models
• Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
• Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
