The HR Coordinator coordinates the integration of new employees and is responsible for supporting and verifying all information required for payroll processing. They support benefits and compensation programs, acting as a resource for employees and management. They will also perform a variety of job-related administrative tasks.

The incumbent will work closely with our teams in Toronto, Vancouver and Los Angeles. He/she will also be involved in exchanges with our customers based around the world, in order to highlight RodeoFX\'s technical and creative capabilities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Participate in new employee onboarding and educate new employees on benefits programs. Guide them in correctly completing benefit claim forms;
  • Coordinate the arrival of new employees with HR teams;
  • Verify the accuracy of information entered into the HR system for new hires and other updates made to employee files;
  • Keep abreast of any short or long-term employee leave (parental leave, sick leave, etc.). Ensure that the appropriate process is followed and that the leave is properly documented in the various systems. Take charge of all disability files;
  • Communicate all data relating to hirings, departures, leaves of absence and any other changes in employee files to the Payroll Department for proper and timely payroll processing;
  • In collaboration with other members of the HR team, ensure that processes for updating employee files, processing new hires, etc. are adequate and efficient. Participate in the drafting, updating and implementation processes, ensuring that related documentation is kept up to date;
  • Respond to inquiries from management and employees regarding benefits;
  • Ensure that employee benefits documentation is always kept up to date;
  • Organize information sessions with our suppliers to inform the HR team or employees about benefits;
  • Produce and update various reports. Analyze reports and present conclusions and recommendations;
  • Act as an ambassador for the HR department;
  • Write, update, translate, digitize and file various documents;
  • Participate in specific projects with the HR team;
  • Open employee and contract files in the HRIS system;
  • Work closely with the payroll team;
  • Develop collaboration with external service providers to ensure optimization of our services.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position;
  • DEC in human resources, business administration or other related degree;
  • Familiar with benefits, compensation and hiring processes;
  • Solid knowledge of MS Suite;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French;
  • Discretion and confidentiality;
  • Strong organizational skills, judgment, resourcefulness, planning, attention to detail and initiative.
  • Knowledge of UKG is an asset
