Available Position: Compact Equipment Technician

MacKay's Truck & Trailer Center is growing, and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced permanent full-time Compact Equipment Technician to join our Bobcat Compact Equipment team in

Charlottetown, PEI

As a Compact Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of compact construction equipment, such as loaders, excavators, and tractors. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with customers and work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

Extensive hands-on experience working with heavy-duty equipment, with proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail, and ability to follow technical instructions accurately. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Solid background in safety practices relevant to the trade, with a willingness to adapt to new technology and methods. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
