Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our Forest Hill staff team. The ideal candidate will provide assistance as directed by individuals living independently in our Forest Hill apartment building. This role requires a commitment to delivering quality services while promoting independence and dignity for those we serve.

Comprehensive, on-site training provided as well as educational opportunities.

Responsibilities

Provide daily in-home support for individuals with disabilities living independently. Activities of daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal care such as bathing, toileting, skin care, oral hygiene, lifts/transfers, medication reminders/assistance, range of motion etc.. ensure safety of clients being mindful of health and safety work involves being part of a team, incorporating our core values of empowerment, dignity and innovation

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or assisted living settings is preferred. Knowledge of and interest in working with individuals with physical disabilities Strong communication skills, both verbal and written a genuine desire to help others Flexibility to work various shifts

Pay: $22.95-$26.00 per hour
