Summary:



Axis Family Resources Ltd. is looking for a

Part-Time Community Support Worker - Outreach

to assist adults with developmental disabilities with their physical, economic, vocational, recreational, social, emotional, and daily living skill's development. You will promote a positive and healthy environment that supports our persons served towards achieving the greatest degree of independence and quality of life possible while working with behavioural issues. Experience with FASD, ADHD, Autism, and/or Down Syndrome preferred.

Qualifications & Requirements:



A certificate or diploma in Community Services, Health Care Aid, Human Services, or other related discipline 1 - 2 years' experience in social services is preferred Related experience in working with vulnerable populations or behavioural challenges will also be considered an asset. Reliable transportation and a valid BC driver's licence Knowledge of and the ability to work with complex trauma, Autism, FASD, ODD or other neurobiological conditions is beneficial Clear Criminal Record Check (agency conducted, expenses covered) Effective written and verbal communication

Additional Information:
