Job Description
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities in the community. Support clients in developing social skills and engaging in community activities. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and goals. Monitor client progress and document observations accurately for review by the healthcare team. Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients, fostering a positive environment. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help individuals with developmental disabilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Basic understanding of developmental disabilities and related support strategies is a plus. Must pass background checks and any required training certifications prior to employment.
This role is essential for making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, providing them with the support they need to thrive.
