Role Highlights



Crisis Counsellor



Risk assessments, crisis stabilization, and counselling Support for 9-8-8 suicide prevention line Shifts: 7 days/week, evenings and weekends Wage: $24.74/hr + shift premiums

Emergency Housing Support Worker



Shelter intake and warming/cooling centre support Shifts: 2-3 per week, afternoons Wage: $24.74/hr + shift premiums

Withdrawal Management Worker



Monitor withdrawal symptoms and administer medication Rotational schedule: 3 of 5 weekends + on-call Wage: $24.74/hr + shift premiums

Support Counsellor (Cornerstone House)



Assist youth aged 18-29 with life skills and housing transitions Relief-based schedule: days, afternoons, nights, weekends Wage: $21.30/hr + shift premiums

Support Counsellor (Peter Willis Residence)



Support federally sentenced men with counselling and group programs Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Wage: $21.30/hr + shift premiums

Child and Youth Worker (George House Residence)



Support high needs youth (ages 14-16) with counselling and group programs Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Wage: $24.74/hr + shift premiums

Shared Qualifications Across Roles



Diploma or certificate in Human/Social Services 1-2+ years of experience in mental health, addictions, housing, youth or justice support Proficient in MS Office and familiar with databases Reliable transportation Ability to manage exposure to traumatic stress Vulnerable sector police check, and security clearance as required Open availability, days, afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays
