McMan's Disability Services Program is seeking to recruit a dedicated CRW 2 to support three (3) male adult individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, complex behaviours and mental health disorders to enrich their quality of life in their homes and communities.
This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension. End date is around 11th of September 2026.
Hours: Monday- Friday 10am-6pm,
total of 40 awake hours per week.
Location:
Edmonton, Alberta.
What you'll do:
Connect with and develop helping relationships with individuals with disabilities.
Acting as a strong advocate for individuals in the community.
Work effectively as a team with the individual and their support team to help achieve their goals.
Completion of daily documentation.
Case management; including support plan development and implementation
Support and participate in recreation and leisure activities
like swimming
.
Perform administrative and cleaning duties relating to the operation of the home.
Participate in on-going program development.
What you bring:
Completion of a High School Diploma.
One (1) year experience working within the Human Services field; demonstrated case management skills.
Equivalencies may be considered.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Security Clearance Check; including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (from within the last 6 months).
Emergency First Aid-Level A CPR + AED.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License, current drivers abstract, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
are required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Computer/Word processing skills.
Ability to assist with personal care and lifts and transfers.
Ability to implement approved restrictive practices.
Experience with insulin injection is a strong asset
Desire to see individuals succeed.
