The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood development and support children and families in building communication, regulation, and fine and gross motor skills. Responsibilities include planning and leading play sessions, creating community partnerships, and preparing and organizing materials. Additional responsibilities include assisting the Community Early Learning Team with material preparation, organization and tote delivery. The position commences in the 2025-2026 school year, with possible summer hours.

Skills and Experience
Valid related Diploma or Certificate and/or related experience with a strong foundational knowledge of early childhood development, Early Childhood Educator, Level 3 preferred.
Strong foundational knowledge of early childhood development and related research
Knowledge and understanding of the MHPSD vision, structure, policies and procedures.
Valid drivers' license and access to reliable vehicle.
Working knowledge of computers with ability to learn new platforms efficiently (Microsoft Office, Google, Canva, Eventbrite, Edsby, EdForms).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
