Job Description


Consolidated Credit of Canada is seeking a Community Outreach Manager. This position is located in North York.This position is responsible to grow and retain community partnerships by creating awareness of Consolidated Credit\xe2\x80\x99s financial education programs and resources. Excellent communication and relationship management skills are imperative to ensure partner satisfaction and impact in the community. The position reports to the Executive Director. This role is eligible for a measured performance related quarterly bonus.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all community outreach activities for the Knowledge of Financial Education (KOFE) portal, and Consolidated Credit.
  • Responsible for developing and managing partner relationships for KOFE
  • Proactively contact community partners to increase the number of educational opportunities.
  • Respond to educational inquiries by partners and public
  • Administer quarterly partner follow-ups and create reports as needed
  • Fulfilling marketing/books requests
  • Coordinate and schedule coverage for partner\xe2\x80\x99s events
  • Coordinate flier design with graphic artist and the Content Team for all Social Media outreach and promotion of events
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in community outreach and any other special events like the Financial Literacy Month, FCAC liaison, and others as needed
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting, including KOFE and Consolidated Credit.
  • Train and support staff members to achieve the department\xe2\x80\x99s goals.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
  • Previous experience in credit, banking, and/or financial planning preferred
  • Knowledge and use of PC Systems and Microsoft Office applications is a must
  • Expected to pass certified credit counseling exam within 18 months of employment
KEY COMPETENCIES
  • Effective communication both orally and in written form
  • Bilingual - English (required) and French is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work on a daily basis
