We are currently seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a contract basis.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in a variety of settings. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients' physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients' needs and abilities. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Utilize therapeutic techniques to enhance patients' functional abilities and independence. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and strategies to continue progress at home. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans. Participate in team meetings and case conferences as needed. Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy practices and integrate new techniques into patient care.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program. Current licence as an Occupational Therapist in BC Liability Insurance in BC Experience in a clinical setting is preferred; however, new grads are welcome to apply Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Class 5 driver's licence with business use and reliable vehicle for work

Compensation:

Pay: $72.00-$87.00 per hour
