Now, nearly 500,000 email subscribers open our newsletter and visit our website every day, looking for personal development ideas, stories and tools that can help them boost their mental health, relationships and day-to-day lives.

Who we need

This an opportunity to write fresh, original content every day. While we use AI tools to help with our research or in an organizational capacity,

we still write our own original content to support our website, articles, emails and social media platforms.

That said, while this role is task-oriented and administrative, you also need to be a talented writer who can perform on multiple levels:

Communications and Customer Service

Creative writing

Personal, vulnerable storytelling

Detailed, research-driven article writing

The

Community Manager/Content Specialist

will work closely with and report to our Content Manager/Managing Editor. Your main responsibilities will be to:

Write daily, inspiring content to supplement and enhance our email newsletters

Coordinate and schedule our daily email newsletter in Beehiiv

Post supplemental content for our website in WordPress

Act as Community Manager, responding to reader comments on WordPress, YouTube, Social Media and our customer service inbox

To start, this fully remote role will be

10-15 hours per week

, with the possibility of expanding your hours as we continue to grow.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, content writing or communications

Experience updating websites or working within a CMS

Excellent writing and communication skills

Experience using WP and Beehiiv will be considered an asset

Previous experience writing in/working in the fields of psychology, personal growth or mental health will be considered an asset
