The
Community Manager at The Beverley
plays a vital role in the efficient operation and management of the building. This multifaceted role blends property operations, administration, and resident support with the hospitality-driven mission of creating a thriving, connected community. RESPONSIBILITIES
Leasing & Onboarding
Respond to leasing inquiries (email, phone, database) in a timely and professional manner.
Provide engaging property tours and support prospective residents through the application process.
Manage applications in Yardi, coordinate approvals, and ensure smooth move-ins with a hospitality-first approach.
Resident & Community Engagement
Be accessible to residents during operating hours and emergencies; address concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Maintain clear communication through newsletters, notices, and resident updates.
Plan, promote, and host community-building initiatives (e.g., seasonal events, educational workshops, social gatherings, volunteer activities).
Serve as the "face of the building," cultivating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that reflects Arpeg's Beyond Walls hospitality standard.
Property Maintenance & Safety
Conduct regular inspections of common areas, suites, and building systems.
Log and monitor resident service requests, ensuring timely follow-up in accordance with Landlord-Tenant Law.
Coordinate with Operations and vendors for larger repairs and capital projects.
Respond promptly to maintenance and life-safety emergencies.
Cleaning & Upkeep
Carry out or oversee daily cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting)
Manage waste and recycling stations to ensure a clean, safe environment.
Lead periodic deep-cleaning projects (carpets, windows, floor waxing).
Administration & Compliance
Audit and maintain accurate resident records in Yardi.
Collect rents and deposits, monitor accounts receivable, and enforce lease compliance with fairness and consistency.
Prepare inspection reports, compliance checklists, and ensure adherence to fire and safety codes.
Stay informed on evolving Landlord-Tenant regulations and apply best practices.
Collaborate with Finance and Operations on reporting, A/R tracking, and budget compliance.
Work Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (start and end times flexible to accommodate resident and building initiatives).
On-call responsibilities as required, with adjusted schedule to balance hours worked.
Must be available for occasional evenings and weekends to support leasing initiatives and community activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in property management, hospitality, or community engagement strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance operational responsibilities and event planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to connect with diverse tenant groups.
Proficiency in Yardi Voyager (or similar property management software) an asset.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate and host
community events
that promote connection and belonging.
Knowledge of building systems, basic maintenance, and cleaning standards.
Familiarity with Landlord-Tenant Law and compliance obligations in BC.
A self-starter with high energy, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to relocate to the Beverley as a Resident Live-In Community Manager is an asset.

. You will combine operational excellence with hospitality-driven leadership, ensuring both the building and the people who live in it thrive.
COMPENSATION
Salary will be a minimum of $50,000 to $60,000 per year with negotiation consistent for commensurate experience.
