District is a global Music Curation Network (MCN) that bridges the gap between record labels, independent artists, and music curation channels on YouTube. With over 13 years of experience in the digital music landscape, we've built a community of more than 700 channels worldwide, reaching over 300 billion total views across all genres.

Our mission is to collaborate with artists, labels, and curators to help them grow their audiences organically through authentic music experiences. We work closely with curators who bring their own unique taste and perspective to music discovery, helping connect global listeners with artists and sounds from every corner of the world.

Based in Canada, District operates globally, working with partners from around the world. As a strategic connector, District supports cross-promotion, audience development, and long-term growth within the YouTube music ecosystem.

About the Role



The Latin Department is expanding, and we're looking for a

Community Manager

to join our team in Vancouver. This role is suited for someone who is passionate about Latin music and culture, eager to learn, and motivated to contribute both as a strong team player and through independent initiatives.

As Community Manager, you will support the operational growth of our Latin community efforts. This includes managing channels, streamlining communication, organizing data, and assisting with campaign execution. This is a chance to grow your career in the music industry while actively contributing to the department's expansion across Latin America.

Responsibilities



Drive the growth and performance of Latin music channels through onboarding, continuous monitoring, and ongoing optimization. Oversee data collection, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to inform strategy and measure the impact of campaigns and activations with partners. Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration among curators, external partners, and internal teams, ensuring alignment on all initiatives. Conduct in-depth research on trends, opportunities, and best practices within the Latin music landscape, proactively contributing innovative ideas. Ensure expected standards of branding, curation, and project execution are upheld across partnered channels. Work with Latin and other District Teams to create ideas for projects that contribute to the department's structure and future growth.

What We're Looking For



Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.) is required. A strong passion for music, especially Latin music and culture, is a must-have. Someone who possesses relevant or transferable experience, coupled with a genuine interest in entertainment, media, marketing, and project coordination. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus). An understanding of platforms like YouTube (including YouTube Analytics and YouTube's CMS). Expertise isn't necessary, but knowing the fundamentals of these platforms is important. Experience producing decks on Adobe/Canva is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills and confidence working with data and reporting tools. A proactive, collaborative mindset, with the ability to both support and take initiative when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
