Community Integration Worker - 12 month contract (leave coverage)
Full-time 35hr per week / Mon-Fri / $24.65 per hour

Executive Director/Operations Director
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To be responsible for the delivery of direct services for criminalized or at-risk women, young women and gender diverse people
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Post secondary educations in SSW/BSW or in a related field (Law, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology)
CPIC Clearance
CPI, CPR & First Aid, ASSIST
Knowledge of issue relating to women and gender diverse individuals experiencing criminalization
Knowledge of the roles and functions of probation and parole officers, jails, correctional centres, community resources, treatment and detention centres
Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and court proceedings.
Experience working in the field of criminal justice (courts, correctional institutions) and with women's issues
One-one and group counselling experience
Excellent case management, recording and data collection skills
Advanced oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
Community relations, public education and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct client services to criminalized and at-risk women, young women and gender diverse individuals in the community, courts and correctional facilities in Sudbury
Deliver services including: intake, referrals, crisis intervention, one-one supportive counselling, housing diversion assistance, outreach, court support, jail visitation, advocacy, release planning, community reintegration support, congoing community support
Deliver the women's group life skill programming in the Sudbury Jail - prepare group sessions, facilitate the sessions, incorporate guest speakers where appropriate, maintain records of attendance and program statistics
Collect statistical data, prepare reports on the program activities as requested and required.
Maintain accurate, up to date client files and case notes.
Develop, maintain and sustain stakeholder relationships required within position.
Promote the program and increase community awareness of the program goals and objectives.
Deliver public education presentations in the community on agency programs and services and issued related to women and criminal and social justice.
