Catalyst Commons is searching for a part-time Community Host to join our team to support Catalyst Commons. You'll be part of the growing coworking revolution that's about providing flexible ways of working for our members. The Commons member community is made up of people in fields like tech startups, marketing and creative agencies, architecture, and remote workers and entrepreneurs across industries.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
You will manage the front reception desk at Catalyst Commons, an important customer-facing role that shapes people's everyday work experience and first impression of the coworking space.
Every day will look different in this role! You will be the go-to person for questions about operations, memberships, and the facility. You'll help set up member events like Waffle Wednesday, Lunch & Learns on topics like product marketing, employment law, or launching a business, and events with our partners like the SheTalks Tech series bringing together women in the tech industry. You'll support our Community Team with marketing, onboarding new members, events, member programs, and operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to customer requests efficiently and personally. You will be able to answer just about any request that comes your way about operations, tech, the facility, and memberships.
Develop relationships with Catalyst Commons clients, ensuring they have a seamless work experience and are set up with everything they need.
Stock and maintain kitchens, conference rooms and common areas.
Assist in onboarding new members, including adding new member employees to our software, and assist members with technology.
Assist the Community team and General Manager with event planning and execution, sales, marketing and other projects.
ABOUT YOU

Self-motivated with the desire to learn all aspects of our business from the ground up.
Personable, naturally enjoys helping others, and going above and beyond for customers.
You are comfortable with technology, and are comfortable assisting customers with AV set up issues.
A true team player who can foster and maintain positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, building management, and vendors.
Someone who brings a fresh perspective and new ideas to everything.
YOU HAVE:
2+ years of experience in Customer Service, Hospitality, or Operations
Availability for 15-20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts between 8 AM and 6 PM
Flexibility for occasional evening shifts to support events
The ability to walk 5000 to 10,000 steps per day and help with anything from moving furniture to setting up event spaces

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
