8 hours Northeast of Toronto
We're seeking
energetic, community-minded instructors
to lead sessions, mentor youth, and support local program development.
Seasonal Housing Provided is provided on site, and instructors stay in one community for the duration of the season with a 3 week Christmas break.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead on-ice hockey, broomball, and multi-sport sessions
Mentor and support local youth helpers
Track attendance and submit program reports
Support school check-ins and model leadership
Assist with local coordination and admin duties
Coach or assist local youth teams as needed
Ideal Candidate:
Strong hockey/broomball or youth coaching experience
Positive, reliable, and self-motivated
Great communicator and role model for youth (ages 7-21)
CPR/First Aid or Hockey Canada certification (asset)
Adaptable to travel and new communities
Are you available to work away from Toronto, for periods of 12 weeks onsite on an Indigenous community? All accommodations & travel are covered
Experience:
Hockey: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
Hockey Canada Coaching Certifications (preferred)
