Title:

Community Health Nurse- Health Centre

Salary:

$94,724- $ 114,261 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract:

Term - mid Jan to mid Feb 2027(Maternity Leave Coverage)

Hours:

37.5 hours/ week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)

Location:

Yunesit'in Health Centre/ Onsite

Bargaining Unit:

PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)

About the role

As Community Health Nurse, you will - provide a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services in remote First Nations communities in program areas of community and public heath. This includes health promotion and disease and injury prevention for individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have / be:

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Occupational Certification and requirements

Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support Certification Level C; Completion of a recognized specialty nursing program is an asset Requires a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

Experience

Minimum one (1) year of recent point-of-care nursing experience in a related or relevant field Include specific area of experience required for the role

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
