Job Description

Executive Acquisitions is a rapidly growing charity fundraising firm based in the Calgary area. We work with our non-profit partners to increase donor membership to fund and provide resources that keep community outreach programs alive. To continue to provide support for our charity partners, we are hiring a full-time Community Engagement Specialist to work at our Calgary office location immediately.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is motivated, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and is excited to work with a nationally recognized non-profit organization focused on creating healthier communities.

Responsibilities of the Community Engagement Specialist:

• Develop an empathetic awareness through education and understanding
• Share our brand story in a professional and meaningful manner
• Pass out brochures and flyers to further the education of our local communities
• Spread our vital message and build lasting relationships with community members
• Develop a sense of trust and comfort with our community and make an impressionable impact
• Collaborate and strategize effective ways to better educate the community on our charity partners\' initiatives
• Accept and accurately record community donations
• Attend meetings and virtual conferences to stay up to date on client charity events and brand awareness initiatives
• Present our charity partners\' cause directly to potential donors

Requirements:

• Experience in community outreach, volunteering, or community relations
• Passion for people and giving back to the community
• Drive and motivation to make a lasting difference in someone\xe2\x80\x99s life
• LOVE for going above and beyond the status quo
• Warm and empathetic demeanor
• Background volunteering or engaging with the community to make a positive difference
• Confident, strong-willed, and charismatic
• Exceptional public speaking and presentation abilities
• MASSIVE team player and ability to build comradery between a diverse group of individuals

This role involves in-person fundraising activities for local non-profits.
