What will you do?

Based out of our Alpine Park Welcome Centre, this engagement position is required to work evenings and weekends to align with our showhome operations. This is a part-time role with the opportunity to work up to 34 hours per week.

Below are some of the primary responsibilities you will be taking on in this role. There will be more, but we can discuss those in person.

  • Operate Welcome Centre and perform customer service and administrative duties such as answering event inquiries via email, website or phone and making appointments.
  • Represent Alpine Park as on-site coordinator/support during all events and activations, including:
  • Pop-up activation
  • Fitness programming
  • Holiday programming
  • Festivals and markets
  • Showhome events
  • Other events and community programming both in person and online
  • Coordinate/assist with planning, participation, and partner contracts for on-site activations.
  • Act as an on-site liaison with builder partners and provide support with community related requests and questions.
  • Capture photography and videography from events, activations, and community environment.
  • Assist with community upkeep including but not limited to signage and landscaping maintenance, community gardens, Showhome Neighbourhood look and feel, and others, as assigned.
What type of experience and skills do you have?

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • High organizational skills and ability to manage a number of projects at the same time
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends
  • An events background considered an asset
  • Experience or interest in community programming considered an asset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Mail Chimp is an asset
  • Graphic design experience and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite considered an asset.
