Summary:

Take It Outside and Trail Shop are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development and Sales Growth Consultant. This key role is designed to enhance our market share, develop sustainable relationships, increase community engagement, and boost store visibility and sales. The ideal candidate will work to implement innovative growth strategies, coordinate community and promotional events, improve digital presence, and foster partnerships aligned with our values.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Market Analysis and Strategy Development



Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and local trends. Develop and implement strategic plans to increase market share in Moncton.

2. Relationship Building and Networking



Establish and maintain sustainable relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and stakeholders. Develop strategic partnerships to enhance sales efforts and community engagement.

3. Event Planning and Management



Plan and coordinate community and promotional events, workshops, and trade shows. Schedule and participate in events that increase brand visibility and customer engagement. Collaborate with influencers and outdoor lifestyle figures to promote products and events.

4. Customer Engagement



Initiate and manage our new loyalty program to encourage repeat business. Organize customer workshops or seminars related to outdoor activities, gear maintenance, or trending topics.

5. Community Outreach and Engagement



Partner with local clubs, schools, and organizations for joint events or sponsorships. Participate in or organize community service and environmental initiatives to reinforce brand values.

6. Feedback and Continuous Improvement



Implement systems for customer feedback and use insights to improve products and services. Conduct surveys and market analysis to adapt inventory and sales strategies.

7. Sales Performance Monitoring



Track sales initiatives, analyze results, and provide regular performance reports to management.

Qualifications:



Recent graduation with a business degree or relevant experience. Knowledge of the Moncton local market. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strategic thinker with innovative problem-solving abilities. Passion for outdoor activities and alignment with our values (as outlined on takeitoutside.ca and trailshop.com ).

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
