About Neighbourhood Welcome:

Neighbourhood Welcome is a warm and community-focused initiative designed to greet new residents with personalized welcome packages featuring local businesses, services, and events. We help newcomers feel at home while supporting and promoting small businesses in the community.

We're expanding our reach in

Port Alberni, Parksville, Qualicum, and the Comox Valley

and are looking for an outgoing, organized, and community-driven

Community Ambassador

to join our team!

About the Role:

As a

Community Ambassador

, you'll be the friendly face of Neighbourhood Welcome in your region. Your key responsibilities will be to:

Connect with local businesses

to establish partnerships and invite them to participate in our welcome package program

Attend community events

to distribute welcome packages and engage with new residents

Grow the program's visibility and impact

by networking and building relationships within the community

Travel

between Port Alberni, Parksville, Qualicum, and Comox Valley as needed

Attend regular team meetings

in Port Alberni
This is a flexible, field-based role ideal for someone passionate about community building, with a knack for networking and relationship development.

What We're Looking For:

Outgoing, friendly, and confident personality Strong communication and relationship-building skills Knowledge of and passion for local communities Self-starter with good organizational habits

Must be willing to travel

within the Vancouver Island region (company car provided, must have valid BC drivers license.) Availability to attend daily

team meetings in Port Alberni

Prior sales, marketing, or community outreach experience is an asset
