Are you passionate about community-based education and land-based learning? Do you thrive in cross-cultural environments and want to be part of an innovative, Indigenous-led bridging program? Yukon University, in partnership with Tr'ondxc3xabk Hwxc3xabch'in, is seeking a Community Adult Education Coordinator (CAEC) to support the Tr'odxc3xabk Hxc3xa4tr'unohtxc3xa4n Zho Bridging Year Program.
As the successful candidate, you will develop, coordinate, and deliver adult education courses that reflect First Nations pedagogies. Working closely with students, Elders, and the community, you will design responsive, culturally grounded programming by integrating classroom learning with on-the-land experiences while adapting curriculum to support learners with diverse needs and educational goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with the program Steering Committee, Tr'ondxc3xabk Hwxc3xabch'in representatives, and Yukon University departments to ensure the program meets its learning outcomes and support student success through individualized learning plans, regular assessments, and community-focused approaches.
