Blue Heron Support Services Association is currently hiring a
Contract Worker for 16hrs aweek
Community Access for People in Continuing Care- (CAPCC)
Contractor required
Reporting to the Service Coordinator, the successful candidate will work with the Provincial Brain Injury Initiative & CAPCC initiative.
Qualifications:
*Experience in the disabilities field
*Education or experience in the area of Acquired Brain Injuries and support systems will be an asset.
*Education or experience working with people in Long Term Care.

*Effective written and verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements:
*Ability to push a wheelchair for extended periods of time
*Walking or other physical activities
Requirements of Position:
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Valid First Aid Certificate
2-Million-dollar liability insurance
Current Criminal record/Vulnerable sector check
Minimal experience of 2 years in the social services sector
