The Ottawa Speech Company is a growing private practice serving clients of all ages across Ottawa and surrounding areas. We are passionate about making communication accessible, meaningful, and functional for the individuals and families we serve.
We are looking for a Communicative Disorders Assistant who is collaborative, family-centred, and motivated to make a meaningful impact. You will work directly with clients in their homes, daycare centres, and other community settings, delivering therapy that empowers clients and strengthens meaningful communication.

Roles & Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one sessions in clients' homes and community settings
Work closely with your supervising SLP to implement therapy goals
Provide engaging, creative, and evidence-informed therapy for clients with a range of abilities and needs
Support families through parent coaching and home programming
Collaborate with other professionals to ensure continuity of care
Prepare motivating therapy activities and materials
Maintain timely and thorough documentation of sessions and client communications
Participate in regular check-ins and team meetings for support, supervision, and professional growth
Qualifications & Skills
Graduated from an accredited Communicative Disorders Assistant Program (or equivalent)
In good standing with CDAAC
Valid criminal record check
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Professional liability insurance (or ability to acquire)
Ability to follow treatment plans outlined by a Speech-Language Pathologist
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong time management, flexibility, and organizational skills
Able to work independently, highly motivated, and professional
Experience working with individuals with a variety of needs, including pediatric and school-aged populations or autistic individuals, is an asset
Bilingualism is an asset, but not required
Compensation:
Competitive, based on experience and caseload
