NVIT anticipates a need for one full-time ongoing Communications Planner and invites applications from qualified candidates. The campus location, either Merritt or Burnaby, will be determined by candidate suitability. This will be a support staff position that will commence as soon as a suitable candidate is available.
Job Summary:
The Communications Planner is a member of the Enrolment Services Team, who works collaboratively with the Events Planner; this individual will report to the Manager of Marketing, Communications, & Events. The Communications Planner is responsible for all internal and external communications on behalf of NVIT. This includes but is not limited to responsibility for articles, opinion editorials, social media, promotional materials and assisting the leadership team in ensuring NVIT\'s message is shared.
The Communications Planner works closely with NVIT\'s Events Planner as well as all employees across the institute. As a member of the Enrolment Services Team, the individual assists with selected duties of other team members as needed.
