Responsibilities
Execute PR plans that align with the team\xe2\x80\x99s OKRs.
Work day-to-day with media and global PR agencies to support PR efforts and campaigns.
Work closely with executives, spokespeople and the greater organization to develop press releases, blog posts and media pitches for company announcements.
Work with cross-functional teams to seek out potential news announcements and/or proactive story ideas for thought leadership.
Execute thought leadership, product, partner, technical, crisis, rapid response and proactive PR campaigns.
Collaborate across the organization to support the news cycle through various channels, as well as, educate teams on news.
Oversee award and speaking submission programs.
Respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Have your finger on the pulse of the news and provide an overview of trends.
Report back on press activities, coverage, opportunities, successes and feedback.
Measure our PR successes in relation to awareness and impact.
\xe2\x80\x8bRequirements
6+ years experience in public relations, preferably 2-3 years of agency experience.
Understanding of U.S. based media landscape
Existing relationships with U.S. based reporters at key business and tech outlets
Experience in enterprise software.
Strong media relations skills.
Ability to develop strategic and proactive PR plans.
Experience working with technology, business, and trade media to achieve awareness and impact goals.
Experience working with and managing PR agencies.
A natural storyteller with excellent English language written and verbal communications skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines consistently.
Ability to successfully coordinate with cross-functional teams and perform in a fast-moving environment.
Ability to independently manage projects from start to finish.
Proven ability to be self-directed and work with minimal supervision in a remote environment.
