Analyze market research data to improve business decisions or activities Conduct economic or commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products or services Develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes Develop communication strategies Direct the development and maintenance of an organization's Internet and intranet sites Direct the marketing strategies of establishments Direct the production of educational and publicity programs and informational materials to awaken curiosity and interest in the subject matter Direct the team on crucial information they should gather and research Evaluate an organization's Internet presence Evaluate communication strategies and programs Evaluate the marketing strategies used by establishments Implement communication strategies and programs Oversee the preparation of written material for website content Publicize activities, workshops, meetings and other events for fundraising or information purposes Review written material, such as reports, briefs, speeches, presentations and press releases Develop promotional materials Plan and control budget and expenditures Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that maintain media relations on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that publicize activities and events on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations Answer written and oral inquiries Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys Initiate and maintain contact with the media Prepare and/or deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions Maintain and manage digital database Copywrite Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support Supervise office and volunteer staff
