Job Description

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Marketing & Communications in the National Office, the Communications Lead is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in corporate communications, marketing, and media relations to make a meaningful impact across a wide range of projects, campaigns, and activations for Canada's largest automotive group.




In this role, you will lead the development and execution of internal and external communications strategies in support of Dilawri's marketing objectives. You will play a key role in managing relationships with partners and vendors, advancing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and providing high-quality copywriting and editing support.



Success in this position requires exceptional writing and editing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to craft tailored content for diverse audiences. A proactive mindset, adaptability, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with teams, partners, and stakeholders.



Primary Responsibilities



Develop and manage corporate and national marketing communications strategies, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and resonance with target audiences. Write and edit content for multiple channels (social, digital, print, etc.), ensuring consistent messaging and a cohesive brand voice across all touchpoints. Collaborate cross-functionally to create and implement strategies that support company-wide initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvement and growth. Review and edit proposals and pitches that support brand development and effectively market new offerings. Develop press releases, messaging, and positioning documents; manage media inquiries; and execute PR campaigns to elevate Dilawri's national presence. Represent and support the Dilawri Foundation's CSR initiatives by building relationships with community partners and developing and promoting key programs. Serve as a communications subject-matter expert, ensuring message consistency across national and regional teams.

Secondary Responsibilities



Provide professional service and support to all stakeholders. Follow established company policies and procedures Participate in meetings and training sessions as required. Comply with the company's Health & Safety Program and applicable provincial regulations.

Quali?cations




Experience



5+ years of combined experience in marketing and/or public relations. Proven expertise in integrated campaign management, development, agency collaboration, and execution.

Education



Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline

Skills



Exceptional writing, communication, storytelling, and project management abilities. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to adapt and support cross-functional teams. Proven ability to communicate effectively with varied audiences, including senior leadership. Highly organized, with strong time management and prioritization skills. Experience working with agencies, designers, and creative partners. Demonstrated ability to develop communications strategies that support business objectives. Proficiency in French (spoken and written) is an asset.
