Summer 2026 Work Term

The pay range for the co-op student role will reflect factors such as the candidate's experience, academic level, and the specific skillset required for the role.
Loblaw has adopted the following hybrid working model (a combination of working between the office and remotely). Colleagues can work remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).

Loblaw's Corporate Affairs & Communication team is looking for an intern to assist with external and internal communication support for Super Market Division and ESG portfolios. Responsibilities include:

  • Identify, write and edit content for the company's internal platforms including newsletters, feature stories, social media posts, leader messages and more
  • Draft messages for external platforms including social media posts, leader messages for LinkedIn, press releases and more
  • Support with public relations programs, including store grand opening and other community engagement initiatives
  • Support with planning and executing Town Halls and Conferences
  • Routinely monitor the Loblaw PR inbox and distribute the daily media summary.
  • Serve as a guardian of our brand voice, ensuring consistency, clarity, and authenticity across all communications
Role Requirements:
  • University degree or enrollment in an equivalent Communications and/or Public Relations program
  • 1 year relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create content quickly to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Drive, motivation, initiative, and a results-oriented perspective
  • This position may include occasional travel across the GTA. Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Assets: graphic design experience, bilingualism
