Analyze market research data to improve business decisions or activities Assist in product development Conduct economic or commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products or services Develop all kinds of events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes Develop communication strategies Direct the development and maintenance of an organization's Internet and intranet sites Direct the marketing strategies of establishments Direct the production of educational and publicity programs and informational materials to awaken curiosity and interest in the subject matter Direct the team on crucial information they should gather and research Establish distribution networks for products and services Establish distribution networks for products and services Evaluate an organization's Internet presence Evaluate communication strategies and programs Evaluate the marketing strategies used by establishments Implement communication strategies and programs Oversee the preparation of written material for website content Publicize activities, workshops, meetings and other events for fundraising or information purposes Review written material, such as reports, briefs, speeches, presentations and press releases Supervise staff Train staff Develop promotional materials Hire, train, direct and motivate staff Manage contracts Market business services Plan and control budget and expenditures Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs Direct and evaluate establishments and departments that maintain media relations on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products and services Act as spokesperson for an organization Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies Answer written and oral inquiries Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions Initiate and maintain contact with the media Prepare sports, literary, performance or other contracts Copywrite Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support Supervise office and volunteer staff
