Position Summary
The Communications Director will oversee Lahoo's marketing and communication strategies, integrating digital and traditional media to expand brand awareness and strengthen client relationships within the North American market.
The role requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution of advertising campaigns, public relations initiatives, and social media management.
Main Duties
Plan, organize and evaluate integrated advertising campaigns to promote Lahoo's platform and client brands across digital and offline channels.
Develop and implement annual marketing plans and budgets covering web, mobile, social media, print, and event marketing.
Conduct market research to analyze audience behavior and evaluate campaign effectiveness; adjust strategies based on findings.
Establish and maintain business partnerships with brands, advertisers, community organizations, and media outlets.
Direct public relations activities including press releases, media interviews, event communications, and crisis management.
Collaborate with creative and technical teams to develop content for advertising materials and social media platforms (WeChat, Weibo, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
Lead the design and implementation of the company's online business model and digital presence.
Supervise marketing and PR staff, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure campaign performance targets are met.
Monitor competitor activities and emerging market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
Employment Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration or related field (Master's degree preferred).
At least 5 years of progressive experience in advertising, marketing, or public relations management.
Proven experience in digital marketing and cross-platform campaigns within media, automotive, entertainment or consumer industries is an asset.
Excellent leadership, strategic planning and client-relationship skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Capable of working under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
