The Club is seeking a
Communications Coordinator
to join our team in a part-time position. This role will support day-to-day communications and play a key part in member engagement and community outreach.
This role offers flexible, offsite work hours and the potential for expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and update website and social media content to reflect Club events, coaching programs and news.
Draft, edit, and distribute clear, engaging and timely email campaigns to the membership.
Support the Community Outreach team with communications related to the Club's Sponsorship Program and fundraising initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Excellent writing, editing, and formatting skills.
Highly organized with attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently and managing varied workloads.
Ability to respond promptly during busier periods or time-sensitive situations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
Familiarity with website CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and social media management tools.
Familiarity with Mailchimp, WordPress and social media management tools is an asset.
Basic troubleshooting ability and interest in learning new digital tools.
Previous experience in communications, marketing, or nonprofit/community engagement is an asset.
Position Details:
Suitable for a candidate seeking flexible working hours and location.
Hours:
Part-time with uneven workload depending on event calendar and seasonal needs. Estimated 30-60 hours per month.
Compensation:
From $22 per hour.
Location:
Primarily remote/offsite, with occasional onsite presence as needed.
Reporting:
Reports directly to the Club Manager.
Opportunity:
Potential for expanded responsibilities over time based on performance and Club needs.
