We are currently looking for a Communications Coordinator to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Communications Coordinator you will be responsible for writing and distributing content for web and print (press releases, magazine articles, etc.) and may support with internal announcements and blog ideation/development. You will proofread copy and support with planning editorial content, while producing accurate and engaging copy across a multitude of channels. The Communications Coordinator will liaise with internal and external parties for content creation and fact-checking accuracy. What You\'ll Do:
Draft newsletters, press releases, internal communications, long-form articles, support with blogs, and distribute as required * Research and gather information to write a variety of communications that will live in various publications, including trade editorial, co-op blogs, magazine articles, and other editorial content as required

• Ensure all communications materials are written factually and have proper grammar, spelling and adhere to the Sunwing Communications Style Guide and brand tone
• Work with Communications & PR Manager, Communications Specialist and Communications Interns to brainstorm future content and additions to style guide
• Write compelling, persuasive copy that sells to help bring our products and services to life through various Marketing and Advertising channels
• Liaise and work closely with Marketing, Brand and content teams to keep website content up to date
• Brainstorm editorial content and liaise with internal and external parties to gather relevant information to write compelling materials for a multitude of channels, including email, ecommerce, social media, the Sunwing App, etc.
• Proofread and edit ads, brochures, flyers, newsletters and more as necessary
• Proofread and edit a variety of content for grammar and accuracy
• Maintain corporate intranet
• Post internal communications news items on Sunwing intranet, manage uploads of essential Marketing collateral and maintain featured homepage
• Understand, develop and capture the voice of focused Sunwing brands, including Sunwing Vacations, Sunwing Airlines, Sunwing Weddings, LUXE, SellOffVacations.com, Blue Diamond Resorts, and NexusTours
• Work across all channels to produce high quality, engaging copy adhering to brand standards and style guide, matching a variety of tones to align with each brand

What You\'ll Need:

• One (1) to three (3) years of experience as a copywriter or similar
• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, PR, or related field
• Outstanding writing and editing skills
• Ability to translate key messages into copy
• Demonstrated ability to adapt writing style for different audiences
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Focused on organization, multi-tasking and meeting tight, often competing deadlines
