RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research, write and edit communications materials for internal and external publications including graphic design and editing of video content. Support the management of hospital social media and web pages, ensuring all materials are aligned with established guidelines and assist with the management of the department's mailbox. Support the organization and promotion of activities including interviews, town halls, press conferences and other public relations events in the hospital; assisting in drafting memos, announcements and updates for review as needed Other duties as may be operationally required

REQUIREMENTS:

Enrolled into a college diploma or University degree in a related field (Public Relations, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Professional Writing) Some related professional, co-op or volunteer experience. Experience in graphic design Required knowledge in WordPress, Microsoft 365, Canva, video editing and social media management tools. Portfolio of graphic design and video samples

PREFERRED:

College diploma or University degree in a related field (Public Relations, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, Professional Writing) 1-2 years of related professional or volunteer experience. Preferred knowledge in HTML/CSS, SEO/SEM, Digital storytelling frameworks, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Social Marketing Certification.
