What is the opportunity: Reporting to the Manager, Communications, the Communications Administrator Co-op intern will be part of the communications team supporting daily work and ongoing projects. Working closely with the fast-paced communications team, the administrator will be responsible for assisting the team with executing various project initiatives that will provide valuable, real-world experience in the energy industry. What will you do:
Event planning and logistics support
Help produce organization\xe2\x80\x99s marketing and communications material
Curate social media content and assets for organization\xe2\x80\x99s channels
Liase with various vendors to develop and produce material
Ensure branding and style compliance
Other duties as required
What you need to succeed:
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism and enrolled in a co-op or internship program
Strong writing and editing abilities; exemplary organizational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple requests while maintaining high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Adobe Creative Suite
General knowledge of all social media platforms
Ambitious, high energy and enjoys the challenge of working in a deadline-driven environment
Basic graphic design and formatting capabilities considered an asset
