What is the opportunity: Reporting to the Manager, Communications, the Communications Administrator Co-op intern will be part of the communications team supporting daily work and ongoing projects. Working closely with the fast-paced communications team, the administrator will be responsible for assisting the team with executing various project initiatives that will provide valuable, real-world experience in the energy industry. What will you do:
  • Event planning and logistics support
  • Help produce organization\xe2\x80\x99s marketing and communications material
  • Curate social media content and assets for organization\xe2\x80\x99s channels
  • Liase with various vendors to develop and produce material
  • Ensure branding and style compliance
  • Other duties as required

What you need to succeed:
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program in Communications, Public Relations or Journalism and enrolled in a co-op or internship program
  • Strong writing and editing abilities; exemplary organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple requests while maintaining high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Adobe Creative Suite
  • General knowledge of all social media platforms
  • Ambitious, high energy and enjoys the challenge of working in a deadline-driven environment
  • Basic graphic design and formatting capabilities considered an asset
