Job Description

Comtech is currently accepting applications for Communication Technicians. As a Communication Technician, you would be responsible for performing installation and servicing of telecommunications equipment, tower climbing, servicing, and construction at heights of up to 350 feet, antenna installations and alignment, radio and networking equipment installation, configuration and troubleshooting, installation and configuration of telecommunication hardware, and fiber termination and splicing.
Qualifications:
Experience working on communication towers
Experience in Telecommunications industry
Structured Cabling experience
Post-secondary education in a technology related program
Construction experience
Able and willing to work out of town
Able and willing to work at heights
Valid Driver' s License with a clean Driver's Abstract
Physical Demands:
Able to lift and carry up to 100lbs without assistance through a work shift
Able to safely push or pull up to 150lbs without assistance using proper equipment
Ability to safely climb to heights up to 350 feet
Ability to work at heights for extended periods of time in all types of weather
Ability to safely and properly operate motor vehicles up to ton pickup
Able to work regular shifts of up to 12 hours (or more in special circumstances)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$40.00 per hour
