YOUR ROLE





The Commodity Manager will lead the Source to Settle procurement process for the IT category.


The candidate will develop long-term business strategies aligned with identified key objectives. This position is also responsible for driving continuous improvement of Indirect Procurement processes throughout The Aldo Group and provides expertise to achieve business goals.


Having in-depth knowledge of the strategic sourcing process, including spend analysis, contract negotiation, total cost approach and business partnerships, is a requirement.


Collaborate with key stakeholders in the success of business initiatives that fulfill company objectives Establish and lead cross-functional teams comprised of key stakeholders to collaboratively define business requirements and develop strategic category plans and initiatives that create value and reduce risk Conduct categories spend analyses and reporting, supply market and industry research Manage and develop key suppliers using Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tools and industry best practices Measure and monitor progress and ensure savings and performance targets are achieved Execute sourcing strategies to achieve department and business objectives Manage the source to settle process Leverage data to identify problem areas and adopt current and emerging business models with an entrepreneurial mindset and creative approach to drive best practices Lead the commercial negotiation of contracts with new or existing suppliers, in collaboration with Legal and stakeholder(s). Make recommendations to the business by using the total cost approach to manage risks. Prepare, review, and present various reports as per the format and frequency agreed with the Indirect Procurement Manager. Manage the supplier database.

DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?




Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or Economics. MBA is a plus Professional certification (e.g., C.P.M., CPSM, CIRM, CPIM, SCMP, etc.) preferred 5-7 years of experience in a procurement role Experience in leading complex vendor selection processes Industry-specific experience required (IT) Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements is preferred Knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement and supply management methodologies and concepts, such as total cost approach and life cycle of products/services and business partnering Knowledge of supply base within the Indirect landscape and availability of products/services, bottleneck criteria (market and pricing), cost levers, innovative technologies and procedural best practices Exercise the highest standards of integrity, discretion, and judgment Strong negotiation skills Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills Foster innovation and challenge the status quo Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects Can work independently, as well as within a team Dynamic person who can engage people and build productive relationships
